Culture Guard

Im Rahmen des von Vaago Weiland 12/2002 gegründeten, TRANS ART CULTURE PROJEKTS entstand die raumbezogene Installation KULTURWÄCHTER.

Alle Skulpturen sind nach dem gleichen Schema hergestellt. 
In kräftiger, wehrhafter Haltung entwickeln sie aufgrund des Materials und Struktur eine ganz eigene Identität. 
Zum Konzept gehörte die Installation an verschiedenen und unterschiedlichen Orten auftreten zu lassen, um zu dokumentieren, dass sich die äußeren Umstände oftmals ändern, Identitäten jedoch Bestand haben, und gleichzeitig schützenswert sind.

Within the framework of the TRANS ART CULTURE PROJECT founded by Vaago Weiland in December 2002, the room-related installation CULTURE GUARD was created. 

All sculptures follow the same methodology. With their strong and defensible attitude, they develop a very special identity due to the material and the structure. A part of the concept was to present the installation at various and different places in order to demonstrate that external circumstances often change but that identities are lasting and, at the same time, worth to be protected.
